Walking the dog the other morning it occurred

to me why so many of us like Oprah so much:

Cirque Du Soleil ~ The Spark

I had the great privilege to spent time with a bunch of clowns!

While working at Cirque in Atlanta I came across a truly inspiring book.

Today it came to my mind, and I would like to share about it with you.

Not only was it great fun to read, it also opened
me up to take on even bigger creative projects.

So how have you been?

It has been a while since I posted on my Blog. Much has happened including a move from a metropolitan city to a small mountain town, after settling in, a lovely wedding, a list of art shows and new yoga students getting to know my teaching style [and loving it!].

I am happy to report back with a brand new web site in place, a new FB page as well and today a new posting here... it's been busy but with spring on the way there is more pep in the step!!!

SELF LOVE

Having moved away from home [Germany] at age 23 and living in a foreign country on my own has certainly had its challenges. And it is the best thing that could have ever happen to me! As you can imagine - I have many stories to share. Here is one... 

I wrote the words above one night while visiting NYC. I had just walked back to my hotel room after passing a group of homeless people unfolding there cardboard boxes and getting ready for a night of sleeping in the alley. It truly touched my heart. I guess if you live in NYC or any downtown metro city you have to learn to live with this reality.

After having worked many different jobs over the years to support myself as an artist/coach and certainly having had my own set of challenges what I wondered is: Can we truly be victims of circumstance or do some of us choose to 'check out' and check into a 'home of cardboard'?

Out of the thoughts we think we make choices that lead to our experienced reality and they start with our learned believe system of how we view the world. Would the teaching of high self-esteem/self love to mothers and fathers as well as at our schools have the power to tremendously reduce the number of humans sleeping under bridges?

It is OFFICIAL!

I have accepted that my life 'needs' to include this wonderful online tool of Social Media. Thinking I was pretty complete using Facebook, Linkedin, and hosting two websites. Yoga: Sandy Springs Yoga & Art: Corina Pia .

After listening to a panel discussion today of four inspiring young ladies which spent their lives in and around the world of Interior Design and Stylish Living [Marisa Marcantonio, Jennifer Boles, Susan Barry and Kimberly Ward], I realized the benefit of a BLOG to share about yoga, art and everything worth sharing. As you can tell - YOGA and ART has my ♥!
